Spelling Bee Contest Winner!
Congratulations to eighth grader, Kasey Stokdyk for winning the Annual Spelling Bee Contest for 2010. Audrey Kennedy, a fifth grader took Second place. Both girls won a one year subscription to Enclyclopedia Brittanica online. Congratulations girls for a job well done! Kasey will represent CSK in the private and parochial school district competition. Good Luck Kasey!

Student Council is collecting "Box Tops for Education" and Campbell Soup labels.
You can send these in with your child for their classroom box. The student and the class to turn in the most will be eligible for prizes at the end of the year.

Dollar Denim Fridays
For $1 students can wear denim shorts or jeans to school. All proceeds are used for special treats for the students.

Middle School Bible Bowl Fundraiser
To help our Middle school students raise money to compete in a Bible Bowl competition, we will be selling donuts and kolaches every Friday morning
before school, beginning October 2nd. Make your Friday mornings a breeze and purchase breakfast from us.

PTO has had a tremendous year!

We feel it is important to keep you informed on how we are spending PTO funds.

PTO recently approved the following purchases:

*Approximately $1,000 in new PE Equipment

*New US History and Texas History books and Teacher Resource kits for Middle School

*New Science books for 6th grade along with a lab activity DVD and CD to help with text preparations for all middle school grades

*Approximately $1,000 in new equipment for the Science Department to be used by elementary and middle
school.

*Advertising for CSK at the Kingwood Girls Softball fields and The Zone Baseball fields.
