Mother's Day Out
The
Mother's Day Out Program at the Christian School of Kingwood provides
a loving Christian atmosphere for children between the ages of 12
and 36 months.
The classes meet Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.
until 2 p.m. Parents have the option of days and hours. Extended care
is available to children enrolled in this program before and after
class on an hourly basis. All children are treated with respect and
are given individual, loving attention.
In addition to responding to children in a loving
manner in order to help them feel secure and loved away from home,
we assist them in feeling confident by allowing them to participate
in activities appropriate to their developmental abilities. Activities
in the MDO program are designed to provide opportunities for development
of fine and gross motor skills. These activities are centered on fun
weekly themes and may include arts and crafts, center play, Bible
stories, seasonal and holiday activities, games, outdoor play, music
and movement, as well as finger plays.
Discipline is handled in a loving and respectful
manner. Parents are notified of 
any
problems that occur in the classroom. Lunch can be sent from home
or may be purchased at the CSK cafeteria for $3 per day.

care for all children enrolled in the Mother's Day Out Program at
